Who Am I
My name is Simon Marlow and live in Berkshire near Reading. After serving in the Royal Air Force after 23 years i was lucky to work with the e-business team at ICI in their HQ at Slough, Berkshire as a Web Designer.
I had a varied career with the RAF which has involved being situated in numerous roles and has seen me travel quite extensively.
Some countries I have been fortunate (and sometimes not so fortunate) to visit are, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Falkland Islands, Ascension Islands, Gibraltar, USA, Norway, Sardinia, and lastly Scotland!
I have been involved in IT for the last 13 years, firstly in computer maintenance, upgrading and system building. In 2002 I completed my 3rd year of OU study which was relational database systems, this then led to my interest in web design and databases. I now create and develop websites which utilises most of my spare time and I usually have several projects on the go.
I've also been involved with SEO and Google Adword campaigns on a number of projects.
